So you have a little time on your hands and a camera (or a camera phone), why not take a stroll through time? But be careful, you might just stroll right by some of the most interesting plant “life” you will ever see! The Plant Guy.
From the King and Queen to the court jesters and more! The Renaissance is awash with color and personalities! Whether you dress the part or just come for the food and fun, there is something for everyone!
More fun photos from the RenFen can be seen in my previous posts, Bay Area Renaissance Festival Memories!, When life throws a bowl of spaghetti at you… juggle it! and Take a walk on the wild side…
The Pewter Pirate, the walking (if you can catch him) statue! It is amazing how many people just walk on by, or pose next to him, and never realize that this statue is alive!
No, this is not a paid advertisement, but rather an endorsement of a worthy travel destination. A fun weekend getaway in your own backyard. Don’t live in or near the Tampa, Florida area, they have these amazing festivals all over the United States!
Let me share with you the most important thing I have discovered. Where ever you go, whatever you see, share it with others! Don’t be afraid to stop and smell the roses, to share a smile with a stranger, a meal with friends and build memories together that will last a lifetime!
