If you ever find yourself in Tarrytown, NY, you just have to stop by this quaint little slice of taco heaven, the Taco Project! Located at 18 Main Street in Tarrytown, this small corner restaurant delivers big on fresh and flavorful!
Denise and I both enjoyed the steak burrito bowls. Tender marinated and grilled steak tips on a bed of rice and beans, covered in authentic queso and served in a deep fried tortilla bowl, yum! We also shared the Coconut Tres Leches (sorry, there will be no pictures of that delight, we sort of dove right in! Sorry, but it looked so good, we just couldn’t help ourselves!)
They “promise to deliver foods of the highest quality from the freshest ingredients at reasonable prices” and they deliver on all points. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious!
The Taco Project has been featured in articles and post from the New York Times to the Westchester, “Eat. Drink. Post.” And, now endorsed by Bill’s Travel Blog! (ok, so they won’t be able to take that one to the bank, but I’m just putting it out there!) And, no this was not a paid advertisement. Go and see for yourself!
The Taco Project, on Facebook! Be sure to stop by their Facebook page and check out the many delights that await you!
Let me share with you the most important thing I have discovered. Where ever you go, whatever you see, share it with others! Don’t be afraid to stop and smell the roses, to share a smile with a stranger, a meal with friends and build memories together that will last a lifetime!
