The creatures afloat… and I fear, not just on Carnival!

Okay, how was that for a dramatic headline?  LOL

If you have ever been to sea on a cruise then I believe you might have encountered these peaceful and somehow energetic, creatures.  They seemly appear out of nowhere.  I mean, you leave your cabin to set out on whatever adventures await you and when you return, you find them “lurking” about in your cabin.

My best guess is that they are the ones who are responsible for making the bed and cleaning your room.  I mean come on, the room was a mess when we left and now, well everything is neat and in its place!  It’s a nautical miracle!

The best part, these little guys don’t expect a gratuity!  Nope they just labor in silence (I have never heard one speak, have you?)

Alright, all kidding aside, these little guys work pretty hard!

And, to go one better, the cruise line even teaches you how to make them.  But the ones I made at home are defective, they don’t even make my bed!  I mean, what’s up with that?  I even made mine look “cool” and did that help?  Well sort of, everyone loved mine!

Personally, I think they leave something out when they teach you how to make them.  Otherwise, why would you want to come back on your next cruise, if not to find out what you can’t get them to make your bed at home?

All kidding aside, this is just one of the many activities to keep you occupied at sea!

Let me share with you the most important thing I have discovered.  Where ever you go, whatever you see, share it with others!  Don’t be afraid to stop and smell the roses, to share a smile with a stranger, a meal with friends and build memories together that will last a lifetime!
