TSA Pre✓® So you’re making plans for your next vacation and it includes air transportation. So you check the airlines for what you can and cannot put in your bags. But, don’t forget the most important way you can prepare for your flight and what could turn out to be the best $85.00 you have ever
Okay, I must admit that heights are not really my thing. So, if you were to ask me to climb a tower and jump off, I would say “you first!” And, I am true to my words (see my first photo) I asked Denise to go first, you know, so I could get a good picture! In the end, I really loved Zip Lining!
Parasail? You, want to do what, Denise? Ok, so for those of you who do not know Denise and me personally, would not know that Denise is a bit on the tame side when it comes to adventure! She prefers to leave the most adventuresome stuff for the adrenaline junkies. Roller coasters? Nope, I’ll watch!
Half Moon Cay Yes, it’s true Half Moon Cay is Carnival’s private 2,400-acre island, that serves as a private retreat for passengers on the line’s Caribbean and Panama Canal sailings. The morning of our arrival at Half Moon Cay, the weather was less than desirable. The ship could not dock on the island because of high
If you are anything like Denise and me, You love to browse the eclectic shops that line the streets of quaint little towns across the world. Cold Spring, NY, has no shortage of these shops and although Denise and I drove through this town on a Monday (when so many of the town’s shops are not open.)
Sunken Gardens, Florida sunshine in a bloom. I though you could use a little Florida sunshine in bloom! We had a spare day or two before the wedding and so we decided to do a little exploring out of Ossining, NY and up the Connecticut coastline. Our first stop was in Bridgeport, where we found Seaside Park.
Growing up in NY, now living in Florida and having traveled on this great nation’s highways and byways, I know traveling for long distances usually means the inevitable stop at a rest area to relieve travel stress, stretch your legs and of course, use the restrooms.
Should you find yourself in Sarasota, with a little time on your hands, might I suggest a visit to The Ringling | Circus Museum?
We found ourselves in this predicament, however, I must confess, a visit to the Circus Museum was the purpose of our visit to Sarasota. That and a trip to Yoder’s Amish Resturant! (But, Yoders’s is a blog topic that demands its own post and so, I leave it for another day!)
Laughter is an instant vacation!
