Cozumel is the only city in the world where the first thing I did when exiting the cab was to kiss the ground and thank the good Lord for a safe arrival, despite the best intention of the cab driver! To be “fare” though, pun intended, they get paid by how many trips they make from the port to Puerta Maya. Which translates, to passing on the left, passing on the right, running red lights, and almost running over the poor tourist who thought it wise to walk!
I justed wanted to take the time to say “thank you” to those who have chosen to not only to visit but also follow my blog!

A short and simple reminder to enjoy the beauty and simplicity of a trip to your own backyard. How is that for an economical road trip, free from the stress of the highway traffic. Pack a lunch from your favorite restaurant (your own kitchen) and enjoy the view.
Every time I come across these photos I chuckle. Who are they, I don’t know, I will never know. What I do know is that I was in the right place at the right time, to capture these moments. That is, after all, my superpower, I can freeze time!
This saying is not a new one, you might have heard your grandmother or even mother say it. You probably just shook your head, chuckled and walked away, never giving another thought! Believe it or not, there is true wisdom in those words.
The holidays have passed and I guess that I should give in and change the Christmas sock on my prosthesis for one a little less festive…
The moral of the story, from now on I will include information on the hotels, restaurants, parks or where ever else we go, to let you know how handicap friendly they are and what you will need to know before you go, to make your trip a little more pleasant!
