So now, the ball in your court, it’s time to email us your ideas! Go ahead, email us, we double dog dare you (I have always wanted to use that line, but I have no idea why! LOL) Where would you like us to visit? What is your hidden treasure? Come on, you know you want
Mr. Bill’s Travel Blog has moved and is under construction! As you have probably noticed by now, Bill’s Travel Blog is under construction! We have moved to a self-hosted WordPress site. Although most of the content was able to be moved, we lost photographs and our “theme.” Please, bear with us as we get the kinks
That’s when I heard about WordPress. The people I spoke with said, “Bill pack up your website and head on over to WordPress! That’s where you need to be!” (Ok, so all the while I was typing that, I heard the theme song to the Beverly Hillbillies playing in my head!)
It was about that time when I decided that it was time to downsize and consolidate. I needed a setup that was lighter in weight and more portable, these things would make it easier to use and in the end, make it possible to shoot more pics and video.
The result, I switched to the iPad Pro, with a MelaMount and detachable lenses. Now, I can shoot photos or videos and have the convenience of having one device with internet access.
Andy, here I thought it was part Scottish or Irish! Go figure!
Growing up in NY, now living in Florida and having traveled on this great nation’s highways and byways, I know traveling for long distances usually means the inevitable stop at a rest area to relieve travel stress, stretch your legs and of course, use the restrooms.
There’s “snow” fun like snow fun!
Of course, we picked one of the coldest days of our visit to get tickets, but hey, it was worth it to rub elbows with the likes of Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly, Daphne Oz, Michael Symon and producer Gordon Elliott! (well, we didn’t actually get to rub elbows, but we were in the same room, and we got to shake hands with Chef Michael Symon after the show!)
How was that for a catchy title? Well trust me, the day we visited the quaint little town of Cold Spring, New York, was a bit on the chilly side, and this little coffee shop was a welcome site.
I use the term “coffee shop” loosely because the “Cupoccino Cafe” has a little bit everything from freshly brewed coffee to sandwiches, and everything in between!
Horses Lay Down
A brisk train ride into New York City Grand Central Station this morning! 37° the push for the sign was a welcomed site!
Denise and I took a day trip to this years Tampabay Area Renaissance Festival at MOSI this past weekend. And, do you know who we saw there? Dr. Who? of course!
I am the only one who thinks that it was kind of ironic that I was leaning up against a “time machine” with Dr. Who, while I was wearing an “I can freeze time” t-shirt?
